To cushion, or not to cushion...

I'm recovering my cushions...wish me luck! It's a rather slow process since I'm doing it without a pattern, and I'm wingin' it while trying to conserve material. I bought all that was left, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be close. I'm also not going to use a zipper, but rather velcro. As we know, I'm a perfetionist, so I need the cushion to look nice seam wise...so I'm in no rush. I'm doing this the right way! I have no before pics, but look for my completed pics...eventually! ;-)

Project 365+1

So,I'd mentioned a new project I was working on. And this is it, someone I met recently challenged me to do that which I love again. While I was thinking about how I could keep myself motivated to do so, I came across the idea of the project 365. Knowing me, I need to announce my intentions so I'm held accountable! It's a psych-out because I don't even require people calling me out on when I don't follow through. But this challenge is three fold, one my new year's resolution, two a way to improve my photo skills, and three to force myself to get my computer fixed. As it stands now, I'm posting from my phone or my kindle fire (thanks bro) ! I'm waiting for laptop parts to be shipped to me...until then, my photos will be limited to cell phone pics or those I can upload from mom's computer. So far, I've not been very good at keeping up with my posts, those I have been snapping pictures, I can assure you!

New life!

Trying to get my garden really growing. This is sooo slow growing...but I am enjoying it for sure. If only I can get my beast of a dog to stop eating my bulbs. Currently, I've got two clematis growing...and some Peruvian daffodils are starting to show their faces. Oh oh and some stargazer lilies too. Those are my faves! Anyone who wants to win me over only need bring me those beautiful lilies! Grow little flowers grow!

What a way...

...to wake up. Apparently my huge beast thinks its ok to wake me up by laying on me. If that doesn't work he "smacks" me...this time in the face. I wake up to this...
Hope this isn't a sign of how the rest of the day will go!

adventure time

Let's see what amazing adventures I can fall into today. Seems too nice a day for me to follow my original plan of not getting out of bed. Shall I finish taking town my lights outside,or run around town with my camera in hand and capture the wonder that is this glorious day? Or maybe I'll take my newest project to the store for the finishing touches... You know what...Irs early enough I'll do it all!

Lessons...

So, the last several months have been...well...interesting. I've been blessed with new friends and old. Opportunities for making memories are at their greatest. I wouldn't change any of it for the world. Well, maybe one...a miscommunication has developed. I'm thinking of it as a learning experience I hope PMR would agree...

I have begun a new challenge. I'm calling it Project 365+1. Be on the lookout for future posts and links to my project! ;-) PMR, I thank you for the motivation!
